Underwater marriage proposals, Gayle and Oprah cuddling with Koala bears, soaring helicopter rides over the heart of the Great Barrier Reef? Whew…what’s not to love about Oprah’s Ultimate Australian Adventures this week?
Seriously, even dyed-in-the-wool Oprah haters like my wife would have to agree that this is damn fine daytime TV. Need further proof? Well, all the stuff listed above happened in the first half of the first episode of the Oprah Winfrey Show on Tuesday. Yep, and there are still three more days of shrimp-on-the-barbie Australian awesomeness to air! Yee-haw!
So, even if you missed the first couple of episodes, set your Tivo’s now. Because this week on Oprah is gonna rock so hard that I don’t even care if I sound like a total girl gushing about it. Go, Oprah!

She definitely makes a person want to add a trip to Australia on their list of things to do, places to go; along with that awesome weekly Taco Night with Tacos, Tequila, & Tunes shared with Family & Friends!!! How fun was that?

Oh man, I don’t watch Oprah but you’ve made me want to tune in! I have family and friends in Australia so maybe I’ll just check out the scenery. Did you get to see Hugh Jackman bust his face?

Nah, man, I gave up on “Idol” for good last season when that old scab Ellen came on a judge. She sucked so bad, man! Yikes!
What cracks me up is that people are all: “It’s not the same without Simon!”, but, if you ask me, things started heading south long before he left. Getting rid of Paula killed the magic for me and it’s been all downhill from there!
Oh, and I have not seen Jackman hit his face yet, but, I’m a day behind on my Tivo, so, it might have happened today. Either way, if you have kin in Australia, girl, you gotta go visit! It looks amazing!!!
I’m guessing you’ve never seen Ellen’s routine on her experience getting a mud bath. I think you may just laugh a bit…just a bit.
Ha! I’m not saying she’s not funny, I just like her a whole lot less than I used to. But, I’ll admit it, if “Ellen” is on and I’m not doing anything major, I don’t always change the channel! 🙂
