End of summer blues…

Some people say it’s the way the days grow ever shorter, or the subtle chill in the air at night, but for the past twelve seasons, there is one sure-fire way to know that summer has ended in our house…and that’s when “Big Brother” airs it’s season finale. And seeing as that happened on Wednesday, well, I’d say the summer of 2010 is officially over.

So, goodbye road trips, plane trips and warm summer days at the beach, but most of all…goodbye to the positively radiant Chenbot.

Seriously, did any of you see Julie Chen in action this season? Chenbot was looking fine, yo. Motherhood clearly agrees with her circuitry. Wow…

Anyway…now that the show is over and all the sunny, summer distractions are slowly winding down outside, maybe, just maybe, I’ll get back to blogging again on a regular basis. Hooray!

Well I had the end of summer blues because after watching BB & Chenbot all summer, my cable company unhooked my service on the 14th instead of the 20th, as I had requested. Just another notch in my belt for my strong dislike of Charter Communications! So I missed the big finale ;(
hopefully I can find it somewhere online…….

  2. What is this Make.Sea.Eat.Do thing you’re working on?. Is this a new project? It kind of reminds me of the blog you used to have way back when. (I should start a blog too). 🙂

  3. @Wendy: That sucks!! I know for a fact though that the episodes are available online. I saw them several places last night…so, you should be able to catch up. It was a real nailbiter this year too! Whoo-hoo! Juicy!

@James: Dude, that is a great idea…you should totally start a blog too! 🙂

I’ve been thinking about moving over the hill because of work and the other day it occurred to me that if I move, I wouldn’t have to have frickin’ Charter Communications any more. It was a beautiful moment. Sorry, I don’t know anything about Big Brother, but had to join in the CC hatred.

  5. Oy…don’t get me started about Charter. Total disaster all around!
