Greta’s baby nursery featured on

OK, first she made a splash on Evite with this adorable pic, but now, barely three weeks into the world our baby girl has made her mark in another way. As of late last week, her nursery was featured on the rocking website Yay!

And not only did the fine folks at Unique Baby Gear ask me to write up a brief description of the products featured in Greta’s nursery, but they also entered our nursery design into their nursery theme design contest! Cool, huh? The award isn’t given out until the end of the year, but first prize is a whopping $200 Amazon gift card, so, we’re keeping our fingers crossed…

If you haven’t explored the website for yourself and have a baby on the way you totally should. Hell, even if you don’t have a baby on the way, the site is pretty fun. There are tons of very cool baby gear ideas. And while you’re there, feel free to comment on our page as part of the contest is based on user comments and we could use the votes, yo!

  2. I love Greta’s nursery. She’s so lucky! I thought, Dang, you and Christine wanna come over and decorate my and Paul’s bedroom?

I voted and left a comment on the site. I hope you win!

  3. Since you and your wife are both kind of artsy, I knew you would come up with a fun, funky baby nursey design for your baby girl, choosing items that have an original, handmade kind of look! ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. Thanks for the comments, guys! And the kirtsy totally worked wonders too! So, even cooler! ๐Ÿ™‚

LOVE this nursery! I don’t have a baby or one on the way but love getting ideas for the future when I do have one!

LOVE the bedding, owls, etc. Pottery Barn?

  7. Thanks, Anna! Glad you liked our nursery…it’s funny, four months in, we are just now finally starting to get full use of Greta’s nursery and crib — she has been sleeping in our room in a co-sleeper until now — so, it’s been kinda fun! Best of luck with your own nursery someday down the road! ๐Ÿ™‚

Hi!! I’ve been trying to track down your nursery since seeing this picture on

I just found your blog and am happy to see the other nursery pictures!
I really like the wall above the crib and was trying to figure out what the “art” was! Now to find the Paul Frank Flash Cards! Great job and thanks for the inspiration.
